I was born in Aberdeen, Scotland but moved to Tupelo, Mississippi when I was three. After high school, I attended the University of Mississippi (Hotty Totty). In 2005, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. In 2006, I went back to receive a Masters of Education in Curriculum & Instruction. During college I meet my husband, David. We were married in June 2007. Shortly after, we moved to Austin and absolutely love it here!
My husband and I have two children, Magnolia (5) and Sawyer (1). They definitely make our lives a more fun! On the weekends you will find us outside walking South Congress, at the pool, or at the park enjoying our family!
I started my teaching career at West Ridge Middle School, in a resource classroom, where I worked for nearly two years. Then, I was hired at Hill Country Middle School to teach 6th grade math. After about two years, I found myself moving once more. This will be my eighth year at Eanes Elementary. I feel blessed to be part of the Eanes Community and to have an opportunity to work with some of the most amazing people!
